Our art curriculum stimulates creativity and imagination from an early age. It provides visual, tactile and sensory experiences and a special way of understanding and responding to the world a whole variety of immaginative ways. It enables children to communicate what they see, feel and think through the use of colour, texture, form, pattern and material. Children become involved in shaping their school environments through art activities as their work adorns displays in the classrooms and around the school. They learn to make informed judgements regarding their use of materials and resources and make decisions on how to apply these to create artwork. They explore ideas and meanings through the work of artists, illustrators and designers.
