School Closures in the event of an emergency.
We recognise that the decision to close a school in the event of an emergency (e.g. snow, flooding, no water or heating) significantly impacts on parents and guardians.
We will only close the school in circumstances when we believe the safety and well being of the children may be at risk.
We will inform the school community by posting details of the closure on our website and our Facebook page.
Information about school closures is also shared via the Cornwall County Council website.
We will also contact local radio stations (Radio Cornwall, Heart FM and Pirate FM) who usually share information about school closures.
