We are the Otter Class!

Last term we  had another fantastic half term!

We were busy learning all about turtles! We independently researching facts about them and we have used these facts to write our own riddles.

We  also learnt about the history of the RNLI and we were amazed to see how things have changed over time.

We have become super mathematicians and we have learnt to solve problems with  more than one step involving all four number operations.

We learnt to create a sculpture of a turtle using clay and we used a range of tools to create the patterns on the turtle's shell.

Sports week was so much fun! We have taken part in lots of exciting sporting activities, one of our favourites being a Cornish game called Smite!

As part of Cultural Diversity Day we enjoyed baking some cornish treats, we think the pasties and scones tasted delicious!

This term  we are learning about the different habitats animls live in.  We are also looking forward to our school trips and Country Dance Afternoon.
