Cornwall’s SEND Local Offer

Cornwall’s SEND Local Offer describes the provision that is available for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families.

Cornwall’s SEND Local Offer helps families by gathering in one place, the information that they need to know in order to make informed choices about the support they receive.

It has been co-produced with parents/carers and young people with SEND. They chose the Care and Support in Cornwall website as the host for the SEND Local Offer.

Our primary aim is to empower you with the information, advice and support you need to achieve the best possible outcomes.

We will listen to your concerns, gather information about your situation and determine what level of support we can provide.

Support from our service can take place via the telephone, Skype, email, letter, or, in some cases, home visits and support at meetings.

If support is needed at a meeting we will require at least five working days’ notice.
