Home Learning- Weekly Plans
We have tried hard to provide a home learning solution for each of you during these difficult times.
Much advice stresses the importance of routine to help children manage the changes in their lives. We have devised a very clear lset of learning plans and a suggested timetable that can be adapted for your family.
Each week's plans can be accessed via the tabs at the top of the page.
The plans are broken down into five daily sessions for you to follow with your child/children. We have considered a range of things when planning these sessions to make them appropriate for the age and needs of our children. These sessions are practical and use resources that you are likely to have in your home.
We have also worked together as a team to ensure that we have planned for the same areas of the curriculum for all year groups inlcuding all areas of the curriculum across the week. ( Maths, Phonics ,Research, Ourselves, Our World, Music, Art and DT, PE, Mindtime, Story and Reading )
As we have in school, we have tried to provide engaging, practical activities as part of their school life and we do not rely on worksheets and therefore we have tried to keep this the same for their home learning.
There are also videos which link to the planning ( or which can be used as standalone sessions)
We will update these plans weekly and upload them at the end of the previous week.
There will be no new home learning posted for the week beginning 25th May as this is half-term week. If you would like to carry on with activities with your children we have identified some more 'Around the World" challenges on our flexible learning page.
