“I’d just like to thank you for the invite this afternoon. It was such a lovely hour with everyone and very reassuring to be amongst others that at times can relate to your own situations’  Armed Forces Family member.

'Thank you both for a wonderful afternoon, I wish I was seven again and went to your school. Your lovely children put on a show to be proud of. We saw a few tears of emotion on the front table it was that good. Thanks again to you and your dedicated staff and helpers. '     Previous members of the Armed Forces

Thank You Tea Party

In 2018, as part of the commemorations of the 100 years

since World War One, The Royal British Legion is leading the nation in saying Thank You to all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.

At Torpoint Nursery and Infant School we believe that it is important that we learn about the Royal British Legion and the importance of Remembrance and saying ‘Thank you’. One of the ways we learn is through undertaking our own acts of Remembrance and thanks.

On the 21st June 2018 we held a very special  ‘Thank You Tea Party’ in at the Council Chambers in  Torpoint for members of the Royal British Legion and those members of our school and the wider community who are serving or have served, sacrificed and helped change our world over the past 100 Years.

It was a wonderful afternoon supported by members of the wider community  who donated everything from cakes to decorations.
