Christmas Performances 2020
We wish we could have invited you all into school to enjoy our Christmas Performances this year; but, as we have with so many things, in this very different year we have found a different solution.
Each class has worked in their bubble on a scene from their year group's show and these have been joined into year group videos for you to enjoy.
The videos were uploaded in password protected menus that are now not avaiable. However, should a family need to see them again please contact us..
When Santa Visited Torpoint Nursery and Infant School
We have had such a wonderful day in school; each class visited Santa and his elf on-board the very magical Santa bus.
A big thank you to Citybus and their staff for bringing some magic to this very different Christmas for our children.

Care Home Wishes
Our children in Year Two drew some wonderful pictures and wrote Christmas wishes to the residents in the local care homes in Torpoint.
A small group of children delivered them today. it was lovely to see the children and residents waving to each other. We hope the visit and the beautiful messages and drawing s have brought some happiness at the end of what has been a difficult year.
Christmas Jumper Day
Thank you to everyone who sent a donation for Save the Children on Christmas Jumper Day.
With your support we raised an amazing £172 which could be used by the Save the Children charity in the following ways
- £2 could pay for hand sanitiser to help fight coronavirus in one of Save the Children’s medical clinics
- £10 could buy antibiotics to help five children beat malnutrition
- £20 could buy a back-to-school kit for a child in Indonesia
- £60 could buy toys and books to support children from struggling families in the UK
- £100 could buy a first aid kit for a health worker in Somalia
Christmas Lights Switch On
Every year our Year Two children take part in the celebrations for the switching on of the Christmas Lights... the event may have been a little different this year but we were still excited to be a part of this special community evening. We hope you were able to watch the event live on facebook. For those of you without facebook, you now can find the videos here.

Decoration Day 2020
Some photographs of our busy start to December for you to enjoy!
The children were busy little elves.
They spent the day decorating the trees in their classes and making decorations to fill the school. It is definitely beginning to feel a lot like Christmas and it was wonderful to hear the excitement from all of the children.
