St Piran's Day

5th March

The children learnt about and celebrated Cornwall's Patron Saint

The children found about the Cornish bird ...the Chough.

The children found Cornwall on maps of the British Isles and then found Torpoint on a map of Cornwall.

On Wednesday 28th February, as the flakes began to fall, we took the opportunity to take the children outside to enjoy the snow. For many of our children this was the first experience of snow....they were so excited!

 " It's slippy"

"The snow is squeaky"

" Look...'ow'.. blow the snow ..'ow'"

"I like the footprints"

"It's tingly on my tongue"

"It's freezing on my nose."
